  •  "As a Dispatcher, I am the lifeline for the public in need of help and the officers trying to get to those persons in need.  Throughout my shift I coordinate the arrival of Police Officers, Fire Fighter, and Emergency Medical Personnel as needed to resolve whatever emergencies.  It is a great feeling when I close out a call knowing the law enforcement team of dispatchers and officers I work with helped a community member.  As a dispatcher for Los Angeles County Police, I have many career opportunities." - Dispatcher Gomez
